Basket of Tulips Quilt(q-185) Circa 1950's-60's, size 74x91 inches. Condition is excellent on this neat looking basket of flowers quilt. It is unused and has had one bath. Nicely hand quilted at 7 spi and the applique is the button stitch and well done also. Actually after looking closer , it appears the maker machine stitched down the basekt, flowers and stems, then went over it with a button stitch hiding the other. The separate binding is hand whipped on. The batting is a blend, but nice and thin and lays nicely. A different pattern and well laid out with the baskets , looking like they are dancing.Fresh, clean and ready to enjoy. From a Mission , Texas estate.
