Flock of Geese Quilt w/ Border(q-162) Circa 1900, size 72x81 inches. This turn of the century quilt having great country colors of blues, burgandy, browns and pinks and a great selection of fabrics including ginghams, shirtings, plaids, prints, conversation fabric of anchors and so much more. Condition is excellent. It is all hand quilted at 6 SPI and all hand pieced. The maker even pieced in pieces to make the blocks come out just right. The separate binding is hand whipped down. There is a small nick in the binding. The sawtooth border is on 3 sides. This quilt looked to be planned out with the light and darks. Looks great hanging or wonderful on a bed or whereever one likes.
