Cindys Antique Quilts

This 8 Point String Stars quilt looks to be in unused condition and has never been washed. Actually the top is dated 1934 in the botton corner as shown, but I feel it was quilted later. I would surmise the quilting was done in the last 20 years. The batting is cotton and it is all hand quilted at 5 spi in the Baptist fan quilting pattern. A variety of cotton fabrics were used in making the stars, lots of little prints and solids from the turn of the century to the 1930's.For the bindinig the back wa brought forward to the front and hand stitched down.
