This beauty of a floral applique quilt is the Poppy Quilt. This quilt is in mint, unused condition, and has hand one rinse. It is finely hand quilted at 9 spi and the applique is very nice too. The separate red binding is also put on by hand. The size is generous too. This was a kit quilt and the maker did great workmanship. The quilting really stands out. There is a quilt like this in the book "American Quilt Classics from The Collection of Patricia Cox". The quilt looks great on a bed or a wall and displays well in other ways too. It reminds me of the flowers from some of Georgia O'Keeffe's artistic paintings. From Lancaster County Pennsylvania area.
