Southern Four Block Tulip Applique Quilt- Border SOLD
(Item: Q-548)
Wow,, does this quilt pop when seeing it hanging or displayed. It has great visual appeal. A big 4 block pattern quilt
with a border on 2 sides. All hand quilted at 6-7 spi and also hand appliqued. The conditon is excellent with no wear
other than noted on the binding. The separate red binding is stitched on by hand. Some of the binding has been replaced
by antique red fabric, some has slight wear, and there's a couple professioinal mends. It is clean and ready to enjoy.
I called this a Tulip pattern applique having a folky applique cheddar ring that surrounds the pattern. There are
tulips and ferns quilted in the ground areas. For a real visual quilt take a good look at this one and enjoy the makers
design. Makes one wonder who the maker was,,,,, The quilt came from a Gadston, Alabama estate, as I was told.
