The "Santa Fe" Pendleton Indian Trade Blanket 1920's
(Item: B-524)
This is a trade blanket not often seen. It is the Santa Fe pattern vintage blanket, with the original label. It is the
1928 Pendleton label. This blanket even has the 4 side stripes or bars on one side as shown. The blanket is in very
good condition, although it has been washed at one time and is drawn some(not bad) and there is some slight bleed of
the green. The original felt binding is on 2 ends and the sides have a finished edge. A very simple pattern, not busy
at all. This blanket is shown in Barry Friedmans book , Chasing Rainbows, on page 122 and he mentions the pattern came
out in 1928. So the blanket is clean and ready to use or display and offered at a very good price.
