Double Wedding Ring Quilt-circa 1930's, size 70x84 inches.This popular pattern multicolor quilt is in excellent condition having only been washed once and has pretty fabrics many from the 1930's , but there are also some fabrics from the late 1880's-90's, as there are 2 small pieces of early brown fabric that didn't hold up well. The maker must have had a big scrap bag of fabrics to select from. The hand quilting is at 8 SPI. It is also hand pieced. The pink binding is separate and hand whipped on. The connecting colors at the rings are yellow and pink solids.Tiny dots still slightly visible for the quilting pattern.
