This wonderful antique quilt has the nicest collection of fabrics. Condition is excellent. Hand quilted at 8 spi. It
is both hand and machine pieced. The blue chambray backing is also the fabric used for the hand appliqued binding.
Beautiful old fabrics used in the construction of this quilt that look to range from 1870'to the 1880's.. Several
images of the fabrics are shown. There is some slight migration of the pink color used in one of the fabrics, but not
obvious. Great fabric study quilt and displays well. The quilting is interesting, as there is an 8 point star and
another circular pattern quilted along with crosshatching. Pennsylvania origin.
