This appealing pattern from the 1930's is so colorful with the solid blue blocks and the plates set on a white
back ground. The condition is excellent, as it looks like it was just made and then put away and has had only one
professional wet wash. No wear. The plates are full of pretty prints, many of which are feedsack fabric. The plate has
nice hand applique. The quilt is all hand quilted at a fine 8-9 spi. The blue binding is the same blue fabric as the
front blocks. For the binding the back is brought forward to the front and hand whipped down. The backing has the same
solid blue around the border of about 12 inches and white in the center making the back having a pattern of sort. This
was one of the more popular patterns of the 1930's. Bloomington ,Illinois estate.
