Cindys Antique Quilts

This Log Cabin quilt made around the early 1900's is in unused condition having only a few slight water or storage spots on the backing. It appears to have never been washed and probably was stored most of its life. Hand quilted at 6 spi. The separate red binding is applied by hand. Lots of fabrics used that include shirtings, plaids, prints and solids and having a solid red border. The way the quilt was pieced and the colors laid out were very effective and visual. The center of the block is solid red also. A popular pattern and very well made. Great quilt for decorating or to use in many ways.
