This is a nice example is of an early crib quilt with an applique center and appliques in the corners. Unsure of
pattern name. The condition of this quilt is very good with some overall fade and a few slight age spots. The quilt
doesn't show wear, but it has been washed probably a few times. The green is now fugitive and is now tan, the cheddar
is somewhat faded and the red is still very good. A good wall size quilt and all original. It is old machine quilted
and the applique is done by hand. A wonderful example of old treadle quilting, I assume. The separate binding is also
done by hand. Canandaigya, New York area.
