1921 Pendleton Tepee Indian Trade Blanket- Mint- SOLD
(Item: B-437)1921 Pendleton Tepee Indian Trade Blanket-Mint (b-437)- Circa 1920's, size 63x76. The condition of this blanket is about
as mint as one can get for a 1920's wool blanket. The original label is attached, shown, and it looks like it is mint
too. The felt bindng is in wonderful condition. Blanket looks like it was just stored and not used. A great pattern of
the tepees and the geometric pattern gives this blanket lots of appeal. Good colors too. As noted in Language of the
Robe by Bob Kapoun, this blanket was one of the most popular blanket patterns and it also shown on pg 161 of his book.
It is a featured blanket on page 107 of Chasing Rainbows, another popular trade blanket book by Barry Friedman
containing lots of information. This is the kind of blanket collectors like if upgrading collections or if only wanting
the best of a kind. Take a look at the pictures and let them speak to you as many of these blankets have spoken to me!
