Yellow and White Broken Star Quilt w/ Border SOLD

(Item: Q-436)
Yellows and White Broken Star Quilt with Border (q-436)-Circa 1930's, size 84x84. The condition of this well made star quilt is excellent. It is a great quilt to enjoy. The hours of quilting that went into this piece of art is incredible. It is all hand quilted at 11 spi, so take a look at the images and see for yourself the workmanship. It has a nice gentle scalloped border and the separate yellow binding is applied by hand. There is a small , what appeared to be an abrasion on the edge and is now carefully mended, shown, as the quilt doesn't look like it was really used by the condition of the rest of the quilt. It has had one professional washing and is clean and ready to enjoy. The shades of yellows on a fresh white ground give this quilt lots of appeal. This quilt was acquired in Texas, so unsure of any provenance. The cotton batting is thin and the quilt lays nice so can be hung or used on a bed or any other way one might want. Spring, sunshine and smiles can describe this quilt!
