1921 Label Pendleton Indian Trade Blanket Sold!
(Item: B-425)1921 Label Pendleton Indian Trade Blanket-Black ground (b-425)- Circa 1921 label, size 61x79. The condition of this wool
blanket is very good to excellent. Colors of black , red, wine, sunset, green, etc. This blanket still has the original
Pendelton label, shown. The binding is a demin red felt color. There's a handful of moth bites, mostly near an edge, as
shown. This blanket is very appealing as it has a nice strong black ground on one side and as Barry Friedman, author of
Chasing Rainbows, calls this a "dazzling pattern" as mentioned in reference to a blanket like this on page 124 in his
book. By the way, the book Chasing Rainbows is great and a wonderful reference for blankets. Displays well and has no
shrinkage. Nice collector blanket.
