Double Irish Chain Quilt w/Border (q-422)-Circa 1890's, size 74x87. The condition of this quilt is excellent. The
qulting is done in cross-hatch squares and the double border is quilted in a cable design. It is hand quilted at 9 spi
and also hand pieced. The separate double pink binding is also stitched on by hand. Fabrics of indigos and double pinks
make up the pattern on a snowy white ground. Clean and ready to use or display. Lots of quilting and color give this
quilt lots of appeal.
