(Item: Q-420)Flagstones Quilt w/ Flying Geese Border (q-420)- Circa 1930's, size 88x95. The condition of this quilt is mint, unused
and never washed. It is just great with a different pattern and a wonderful border of flying geese to set it off. A 2
color quilt of deep lavender or light purple and white. Nicely hand quilted at 7-8 spi.The binding was done in the knife
edge style, being the top and back fabric folded in together and whipped together which is very time consuming. The size
of this quilt is very generous, as you can see my quilt holders, Ronnie and Allen had a hard time holding it up to see
all the borders. It would work on a queen bed and top a king bed if desired. This pattern has several names including
May Festival, 4 and 9 Patch, also Pullman Puzzle, so just pick out the one you like best,,, a real versitle quilt in the
condition that has no excuses. Ohio estate.
