(Item: B-389)Cayuse- Pendleton Indian Trade Blanket- Stunning(b-389)- Circa 1920's, size 59x71. The condition of this Cayuse Indian
blanket is very good. The colors and pattern make it a very graphic and colorful trade blanket. In not so often seen
colors of blue(dominant color), black, red, cheddar, green, cream, etc. This blanket is wool and still has the original
red felt binding and the original label, shown, which is a 1921 copywright. Slight binding wear. This blanket pattern is
in both books, Language of the Robe by Kapoun and also Chasing Rainbows by Freidman. It is on page 146 in Language Of
The Robe. A wonderful display blanket and great for a collector.
