Oregon City Indian Blanket - Center Point 1920 Sold
(Item: B-385)
Oregon City Indian Trade Blanket - Center Point 1920 (b-385) Circa 1920's, size 76x60. This desirable pattern of the
Oregon City line of blankets is in very good condition. This is considered a center point pattern, is wool and has the
original felt binding. The felt binding has a few small moth nibbles, shown. The felt bound blankets were considered
the higher quality blankets. There is a blanket similar to this on page 99 in the book Language Of The Robe by Bob
Kapoun and is also on a featured page in Chasing Rainbows by Barry Friedman. Barry Friedman mentions this is one of
the very best Jacobs Oregon City patterns. This is the 4th Oregon City blanket label and it's still attached, shown.
This blanket is an excellent one for a collection and displays well.
