Small Pieced Crazy Quilt Diamonds-top, circa 1900, size 66x69 inches. Silks, etc. This fantastic piece of art work is how this quilt can be viewed. Condition is excellent to near mint, with only a couple small pieces that have alittle splitting and very hard to find. The design and color and piecing, well the pictures tell it all. The diamond pieces form stars, but they don't really jump out in the pattern. This top is pieced on foundation, as most crazy quilts were. It can be enjoyed as is or a binding put on or even adding a backing if desired. This would also be a fabulous piece mounted and framed! Northeast USA.
