(Item: Q-365)Victorian Crazy Quilt- 1885(q-365)- Circa dated 1885, size 60x60. The condition of this detailed crazy quilt is
excellent with just 4-5 small silk fabrics that have splitting in various stages, worst shown. There is a painted date
on the quilt of 1885 and also an embroidered date of 1885. It also has a wonderful souvenir ribbon, La France the
Statue of Liberty. There is a great variety of stitching. Fans in each corner and also embellishments of cattails,
initials, rooster, flowers, star and moon and lots more. In the center is an initial P. Look at the closeups. This crazy
quilt is backed and there are some small ties on the backing that connects the front to the backing.
