Art Deco Butterfly Quilt- Mint(q-125)- Circa 1930's -40's, unwashed, unused. Size 79x89 inches. This fantastic pattern is
pieced instead of the usual applique for butterflies. This pattern could have been the first pattern for a pieced
butterfly published in Needlecraft 1928.( ref-Encyclopedia of Pieced Patterns- B.Brackman) A well made quilt that is
nicely hand quilted at 8 SPI. Lots of quilting on this one. Also the size is very generous for some of todays beds. This
quilt would look nice on a queen or double bed. It looks to have been stored and not used. A separate pink binding is
hand whipped down. There is no fade on the quilt, the light may make it appear that way. Mint condition!
