Grandmothers Flower Garden quilt-Fussycut Pieces- Mint(q-273) Circa 1930's, size 75x90. The scale of this small pieced flower garden is only 1 3/8" size of the single hexagon. In addition to the small scale , the maker also fussycut many of the 3rd rows of flowers, adding lots of extra planning and fabric to this quilt.The maker also did the flowers in rows of colors as shown. The condition of this quilt is excellent. Nice small separate green binding hand stitched down. The backing is also green solids. The hand quilting is also fine at 9-10 spi. A very high quality quilt with scalloped edges.
