9 Patch Single Irish Chain-Mennonite?? (q-252) Circa 1930s-40's, size 76x83. This cotton quilt in solids of lavender, black and pink is all hand quilted at 6-8 spi with lavender thread. The condition is excellent. This simple, yet attractive quilt has a Mennonite look. I have no provenance, but it was acquired in the Rogersville, Missouri area where there are some Amish communities. It has a separate binding of lavender and it is machine stitched on. Round corners. Rogersville, Mo. area.
